FAQ
How will the project work?
The @UK PLC system is written and maintained by the @UK Development Team. A developer will be assigned to your punchout to carryout the configuration and testing requirements.
How long will implementation take?
The first week implements and tests the punchout integration. The second week implements electronic exchange of Purchase Orders and Invoices. It is possible to implement the setup and testing more quickly, and if dedicated resource is available a 1 week implementation if feasible. However if either party have to do any development work then it is unlikely that a 2 week plan is realistic. The two week plan assumes that there is no development work required, and that back end integration is already in place on your site.
Which version do you support?
@UK currently support cXML version 1.2.009 (we generally support the latest version and cXML is backward compatible). Documentation for this is available from http://cxml.org and we recommend you consult this prior to attempting an implementation. This document assumes prior knowledge of cXML and is intended to illustrate aspects of the protocol specific to an implementation with @UK.
Where can I find out more about cXML?
On the cXML FAQ pages.Which type of @UK Punchout do I require?
cXML is not the only form of Punchout.
(There is also CBL, OAGXML, SAP OCI and OrderXchange).
Basically if you have used cXML before then use cXML, otherwise if you are new to punchout technology we recommend using OrderXchange.
