Adult Literacy Level 1 and 2

The qualification aims to develop candidates' ability to apply communication skills (reading, writing and number skills) in a range of familiar contexts and situations. 

These key skills are a range of essential generic skills that underpin success in
education, employment, lifelong learning and personal development.  They are practical, applied skills and can be be developed through other subjects or main programmes, such as NVQs through the Train to Gain initiative, but may also be studied as individual subjects in their own right/

Qualification

To gain certification at levels 1 and 2 candidates must pass an external test.

12 weeks every Saturday, 10am - 12noon.
