The Home Office will announce in the next few weeks its long awaited 'Tackling Violence Action Plan' which will include provision and funding to provide Metal Detectors for Schools and Education facilities as part of its drive to remove knives from the education environment.
Critical Safety & Security can provide portable walk through metal detectors that can be deployed at any location within a school or college. These detectors which can be removed and stored at the end of the school day can cover a single entrance or can be moved from entrance to entrance to deter entry.
We also have a range of Hand Held Metal Detectors which can be used by individual teachers where they might have reasonable suspicion that a pupil is carrying a knife.
Such Safety equipment can be purchased direct by the LEA or School with or without training or we can provide a contracted managed service with staffing to cover a permanent single site, permanent multiple site or multiple sites on a rolling schedule.
