Entry

How to Enter

Use the entry form, you need to have a website, and the url (website address) for your site.

Optionally you can create a picture of your website along with a thumbnail if you want to optimise what appears on the competition site.

How to create a picture of your website

View the site in your favourite browser. On windows press ALT + PrtScn, this copies the site into the clipboard and you can paste into your favourite image editor. e.g For Paint - Paste it into Paint. (programs > accessories). Then you can resize/crop to 800x600.

It is best to just select your site and remove the browser from the screen shot, and then crop to 800x600.

Save as a jpg.

How to create a thumbnail

Just shrink the picture of your site. Using Paint, stretch and select 20% of the original size.

How to check your entry

Make sure that all the parts of your entry are correct.

Design

Accessiblity Guidelines

Please make sure your site is accessible. If the judges can not view the site because it requires special plugins it will not be good for your entry. Please ensure that your site works with common browsers and meets accessibility standards.

Search engines

Sites need to be visible to search engines so make sure that your site can be spidered by a search engine. If it is accessible it should be easy to spider.
