Walker Driver Training is based in the South-East of Birmingham, taking in Yardley, Stechford, Castlebromwich, Chelmsley Wood, Hall Green, Solihull, Knowle and Dorridge.
Training
Getting behind the wheel doesn't have to be traumatic. Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) Larry Walker teaches one-on-one, drawing on 25 years driving with the police fast response unit, so you know you're in safe hands. You'll be driving a 2004 Vauxhall 1.0 litre Corsa, holder of EuroNCAP's 4-star safety rating. The car is also fitted with a He-Man dual control system so you're never alone.
Training consists of a series of one-hour lessons - exactly how many depends on you. At Walker Driver Training we know that every student is different, and whether you want a single lesson or a dozen, we can arrange a programme to suit your needs.
Larry is also an approved Pass-plus instructor and runs the Pass-plus course for drivers who have just passed their practical test. Run over a minimum of 6 hours, the Pass-plus course provides extra experience such as adverse weather, night driving and motorway driving.
