Wallgate was established in 1975 on the basis of inventing the worlds first combined handwash and dry machine, a product that saves space, water and energy and is easily used by able or disabled persons.

Wallgate developed this concept into a range of products to suit a wide variety of hygiene customers including Local Authorities, Pharmaceutical, Electronic, Medical and food clean rooms, the leisure industry, prisons and secure establishments and schools.

Wallgate's manufacturing facility is ISO 9001 accredited for all aspects of design, manufacture and servicing. Wallgate's products are approved by a range in UK, European and US test houses to international standards of safety and quality. These include electrotechical, electro-magnetic compatibility and water approvals. The products also comply with standards for disabled persons use and convenience.

In the mid eighties, Wallgate established a solid surface casting plant which now casts a unique range of patented sanitary-ware to complement the combined handwasher driers, sinks, shower trays, baths and bespoke products.

The company quickly established a service division and is now able to provide nationwide coverage using its in-house mobile service engineers. Warranty backup, annual service contracts, individual call-outs or sales of spare parts and various soaps are all provided by this division.

Service support to global customers is provided directly from Wallgate or where possible through export distributors.
