Notes on Certificates of Incorporation:
The electronic PDF certificate is the ORIGINAL certificate of incorporation, and is a legal document.
This should be an acceptable format for most purposes, however some institutes and organisations prefer to see a printed certificate of incorporation which we can provide. Please see the useful links page.
Notes on Trademarking:
Neither Companies House nor @UK PLC consults the Trade Marks Register when considering an application for a company name. Therefore, the registration of a name does not mean that the trade mark rights do not exist. In your own interests, it is advisable to check with the Trade Marks Registry of the Patent Office on www.patent.gov.uk
