Bespoke Website Design
Bespoke Website Design using @UK PLC templates
First of all you will need a basic package from @UK to allow you to log in, build a site and add pages: You can register with @UK and get a free trial of the @UK SiteGenerator package for 7 days. After this there is a yearly charge to keep the site running.
The basic packages use off the shelf templates for the main site design: The template system means that you can go online and edit the site through our content editor 24/7, without the risk of 'breaking' the main structure. There are examples of the basic package available online.
With these packages you also get an optional web listing that can be viewed and purchased from by visitors to the @UK website, portals using the @UK database of companies, and also purchasing organisations (including some councils and other local authorities).
You can either use it as a standalone shop: which enables you to 'bolt ecommerce' on to your existing site, or as an integrated shop.
Stand-alone Bespoke Website Design
If you wanted to have total control, i.e. format the graphics and text as you wished, we would produce a template in a package such as Macromedia Dreamweaver which we then hand over to you. You then build a site from the template using Dreamweaver (or in plain HTML) and upload it via FTP to a hosting server.

Outside Agency Website Design
There are 3 options here:
- Design the site as a completely seperate entity and host it wherever you like, but then link across to the online shop on @UK. We can then style the online shop to match.
Cost: £900-2500 depending on complexity of design. Disadvantage: you won't be able to continue to use our content editor for pages other than the catalogue. - Create mockups for the site, and pass them over to our design team for the build stage.
Cost: same price as above. - Design a complete @UK template and then hand it over to us for integration.
Cost: May be a fraction cheaper than the other options as it saves us design and build time, but the integration and testing stage would be trickier. The site will also need to be built to our spec - please contact us to see the spec.
Bespoke design case study - InaPlex Limited
Inaplex were in the midst of re-vamping their corporate image and web site when they go tin touch and asked whether we would be able to handle the design side of their new site build. The back end was being built in house and they just needed an attractive style to base the site on.
We took their existing branding and gave it a much needed breath of life, using smart, modern imagery and vibrant colours, then we handed the design template over to them for integration.
(The site is currently still being integrated at the time of writing).
