TIS engineering inspectors have considerable experience as field service and maintenance engineers acquired through employment with leading forklift manufacturers, with each having a minimum of 15 years hands on experience on all makes & models of fork lift truck.

Our engineers continue to work along side some of the largest forklift manufacturers and dealerships, including Linde, Moffett Hiab, Still Materials and many dealerships both large and small including Acclaim Handling, Forkway,  and many more.

Our independence is key by ensuring there is no conflict of interest. We are a member of BITA (British Industrial Truck Association) 

HSE recognises BITA Guidance Note GN28 as the definitive procedural document for the Thorough Examination of fork lift trucks. GN28 and the CFTS procedural code together ensure that all Thorough Examinations conducted by TIS meet and exceed the statutory requirements of LOLER & PUWER 1998 regulations.
