The ideas grow out of Guy Claxton’s Building Learning Power. The principles of the approach are succinctly outlined along with the methods teachers can use to start Building Learning Power in their classrooms.

Some sets of descriptive statements are provided for teachers to check their progress towards creating a culture for ‘learning to learn’.
