Seafarers around the South West it has been a long voyage for most seamen, since the tonnage laws were introduced in the seventies most seamen lost not only the living but also their way of life.

A few like minded people have set up the South West Federation of Merchant Seafarers, this organisation has been put into place to serve you and your needs, if you feel that you need a welfare visit, or you need to go to hospital with someone. If you are in need of anything which you feel that we could help you with give our office a call.

Meny organisations pretend to care for fellow members but we are unique as we do not want anything from you, we are hear to help you the seafarer or your dependents.Their is no membership fees required from you.

Three branches of the Merchant Navy Association have come together to form this Federation, hopefully more will follow. We aim to give you first class service, point you in the right direction to your welfare and pension rights.
