Unfortunately the returning of goods purchased does occur. This can be down to a change of mind or a faulty product. Below is a guide to our returns policy covering all procedures:
Returning of goods that are not required
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, UK customers have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any of these items within a period of 7 working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered.
This applies to all of our products. However, we regret that we cannot accept returns where the item has been opened and/or used and a restocking fee of £15 including VAT will be charged for any return.
A refund will be made within 5 working days of the receipt of the product using the same method that you used to pay for the item. This refund will be for the returned product and the postage and packaging on the original invoice but minus the restocking fee.
We cannot be held responsible for any items that are not received by us and therefore would recommend that you use a recorded delivery service with the relevant compensation to cover the value of the product in the evident of a loss.
Returns Procedure
Step 1: Please call 0845 200 4985 for a returns form. Once this is received please complete the returns form and please ensure that you describe the fault in detail and fully complete all the details on the form. If you are able to fax a copy of the completed returns form over to us on 0844 801 0500 or email to sales@telecomsdealer.co.uk , we would be able to start processing any internal paperwork which could speed up the returns process.
Step 2: You will need to return the goods to Telecoms Dealer Ltd. Items must be returned in their original packaging, a copy of the completed form must be enclosed and the returns number must be clearly displayed on the outer packaging of your parcel. Do Not affix it directly to the product or product packaging, products must be put in another box. Packages without a returns number visible on the outer packaging will be refused.
Step 3: On receipt of your returned item Telecoms Dealer Ltd will email you to confirm this fact along with the relevant procedure for that product – this can be dependent on the age and the manufacturer and the product – on whether we are raising a credit, sending out a replacement or sending the product off for repair.
Please note:
- Items found not to be faulty will be returned to you with an admin charge of £20.00 inc VAT.
- A returns form is the authorisation for the return of the goods only and does not warrant that a credit/replacement is due or will be given.
- All goods returned due to customer error will be subject to a restocking charge of £15.00 inc VAT. These goods can only be returned within 7 days of receipt. These goods must be returned in all their original packaging and in brand new condition being unopened and/or unused.
- Any items that are out of warranty and being sent off for a repair quote, if the quote is rejected, are subject to a admin charge of between £30 and £70 dependent on manufacturer and age and fault.
-The returning of your goods and this form are taken as acceptance of the above statements.
Failed deliveries
If the delivery of your order is attempted and fails, the goods will automatically be returned to us. If this happens we will credit the original method of payment used to purchase the item with the cost of the product(s) but not the delivery charge. If you do still require the product(s) you will need to reorder. Fees may apply.
