What is TSORS?
TSORS is a system, method and apparatus for recovering oil from crude oil sludge.
How does it work?
Citrus-derived solvent is pumped at an elevated pressure into the mass of sludge to be treated, and the solvent and dissolved sludge are recycled until all the oil is released and is at a pumpable viscosity to be recovered.
Where can it be used?
To recover oil from sludge in settlement/storage tanks on land or in the holds of ships.
To recover oil from crude dumped in evaporation pits or holes in the ground.
