Our Site Energy Management Team have been involved in numerous projects including a discrete energy conservation and reduction project between 2001 – present
For one specific client at the end of 2005, the team had met and exceeded the corporate site target of 8% energy
Resulting in an actual reduction of energy consumption of:-
- Electricity reduced by 22%
- Water reduced by 25%
- Gas reduced by 23%
In terms of the economic bottom line, in 2006 alone, the cost saving for this client should have been £1m. A substantial figure of £2m saving had been achieved to the end of 2005. Energy costs are rising substantially and the effect is now cumulative. So by the end of 2006 a total saving of nearly £3m will have been realised.
