Data Centre - Electrical Systems
For secure power supply and all electrical systems within Data Centres. TAS's experience includes upgrades to data / computer centre PDU's (Power Distribution Units) and power the full distribution matrix.

TAS will provide you with a full anlaysis, risk assessment and detailed specification for modifications to the existing systems.

As is a regular issue, minimum down time generally tends to be the critical factor for major computer systems, regularly with only a single short window of opportunity. Therefore, we understand that careful planning and preparation is absolutely essential. TAS, in close collaboration with all of your key personnel will develop a strategy and schedule of changeovers. TAS will also be responsible for the detailed design of your new equipment and ensure that it is delivered to site on schedule to meet the deadline.

New under floor socket outlets connected to the PDUs

With safe working procedures and contingency plans in place, a single crucial weekend of activity will resulted in power up of your vital computers ready to go back on line for the new working week. Throughout the changeover TAS would be available on site to provide immediate technical support and advice. During the downtime we recommend to take the opportunity to test the Emergency Power Off circuit.

Progressive changeover of less critical systems would ensue, until all modifications have finally been completed. TAS would then update the system documentation to ensure that you conform with the requirements to have a fully documented installation, under the Electricity at Work Regulations.
