ENERGY MANAGER SOFTWARE
The SystemsLink Energy Manager Software is designed to provide an extremely cost effective way of implementing a fully featured energy monitoring and targeting system. It requires no great level of expertise in use or in analysis and is suitable for every organisation wishing to monitor and therefore control energy usage.
Electricity, Gas, Water, Oil, Solid Fuel or other utilities may be monitored using the package. Monitoring and Targeting allows easy identification of waste or overspend and allows savings to be tracked. Supplier EDI or data files, BEMs and meter logger data may be automatically imported. Full data validation, tolerance checks and alarms provide all necessary management information. Standard or user configured reports present the information in both graphical and tabular fashion with an option to automatically email to site.
The package may be linked to mainframe systems for import and export of site details, energy and accounts (e.g. SAP) data.
Since its launch in 1996, the software has been continuously extended and enhanced in response to user feedback and it is now used extensively in the following sectors:
Local Authority, Retail, Universities, Hospitals, Industry and Consultancies.
Web Direct Meter Reads and Reporting
This feature is a Web based service which allows users to enter Direct Readings and run reports over the Internet. This is invaluable where previously cards, faxes or emails have been submitted with readings. Using this facility individual sites (e.g. schools, depots, stores) have direct access to their data. Hundreds of schools are now running live with this system.
Users are given permission to view either one site or a group of sites. Entries of Direct Readings are via a Web page which displays all meters and previous readings. Date and meter readings are entered and validated before submission.
Additionally a variety of reports are available showing year on year comparisons and other trends. On entering Direct Readings the user is immediately able to see any variation in usage patterns. Reports are optional and the system may be configured to accept Direct Readings only.
Users may design their own reports for inclusion on the Web. Configuration is easy and reports may be copied directly to the server for view by site.
This service may be hosted on your own Intranet or our Internet server.
Bill Validation
Contracts may be stored for each site. Time periods, days of week and months of year are all selectable to cover the most complex contracts. The package is then able to generate bills and compare automatically against supplier invoices. A library of Use of System Charges and Loss Adjustment Factors for all regions completes the data analysis. In addition bills may be produced for internal invoicing or tenant billing. SQL ServerThe system may be linked to either a Microsoft Access or SQL Server database.
