Important instructions for downloading and use
When you download any of these files, you must save them to your hard disk. In order to save the files to your hard drive (on a PC), right-click on the download link and choose 'save target as' (if using Internet Explorer) or 'save link as' (if using Netscape).
If you save the file to your Desktop, it will be easy to find when you come to either install a module or copy the file to the right location in your Visual Liturgy directory. Even the largest of the downloads should take less than thirty minutes to complete on an average 56kbps modem. Some downloads, like the stylesheets, will be very quick.
To make use of the stylesheets, print templates or planner layouts, you will need to copy the downloaded files into the relevant directory in your Visual Liturgy installation folder (usually c:\program files\visual liturgy 4). Once safely placed in its relevant folder, you will be able to use your downloaded file alongside your existing options within Visual Liturgy 4.0.
To make use of the content module and the fixes provided in the Series One update, you will need to extract the zip file to your desktop. If you do not have .zip software, you can download a free trial from www.winzip.com. Once extracted, double click the extracted .msi file to begin the update process.
Content modules: Content modules provide new liturgical material. Forthcoming modules include the ECUSA Psalter and the MIDI files modules (both of which will be updated from version 3.1).

Global roles sorted by location and time (RolesLocTimeSort.xml, 110Kb)
This layout provides the Global service roles - who is responsible for the Sound desk, Flowers and playing the Organ in a format sorted by Location and Service Time.
Stylesheets: Stylesheets control the way that services are displayed and printed. There is advice available on how to edit, use and download stylesheets.
No Red used in the stylesheet (NoRed.css, 3Kb)
This stylesheet turns all items that appear in red in the default vlHTML.css stylesheet and makes them black. Includes all rubrics, psalm diamonds and other red items. The intention is to improve print-outs on black and white printers where the current stylesheet may print the red as shades of grey.
No Wide Margin, No Verse numbers (NoWideNoVerse.css, 3Kb)
This stylesheet extends the NoWideMargin stylesheet supplied with Visual Liturgy 4.0 for Common Worship by also hiding any verse numbers in Bible readings. Please note that verse numbers are not present in NIV readings so this stylesheet would only impact NRSV readings.
VL classic (vlClassic.css, 3Kb)
If you are longing for the days when everything was black and Times New Roman, this stylesheet is for you!
