THE RULES ARE THERE FOR YOUR SAFETY AND TO MAKE EVERYONE’S LIFE AND THE PROJECT RUN SMOOTHLY.
THE BEST RULE IN LIFE IS TO TREAT OTHER PEOPLE AND THEIR PROPERTY AS YOU WOULD LIKE THEM TO TREAT YOU AND YOURS.
1. TREAT ALL STAFF AND OTHERS WITH YOU WITH RESPECT.
2. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS FROM STAFF.
3. NO SMOKING, (ALL CHILDREN YOUNG PEOPLE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE), OR ANYONE ABOVE THIS AGE, IN ANY OF THE BUILDINGS (THERE ARE SMOKE DETECTORS IN ALL BUILDINGS, LINKED TO THE LOCAL FIRE STATION, A FALSE CALL OUT WILL COST A LOT OF MONEY)
4. SAFETY 1ST, DO NOT DO ANYTHING THAT WILL PUT YOU OR ANYONE ELSE AT RISK (IF IN DOUBT, ASK THE STAFF)
5. DO NOT USE ANY TOOLS WITHOUT PERMISSION.
6. DO NOT ENTER ANY ROOM YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO.
7. RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE, WITH REGARD TO NOISE.
8. BED TIME. SOME PEOPLE WILL BE IN BED BEFORE YOU, PLEASE DO NOT WAKE THEM. WE ALL WANT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME IN THE EVENING, BUT PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WE HAVE A JOB TO DO, AND NEED TO BE UP IN THE MORNING BY 08.00AM
9. AT BED TIME PLEASE KEEP TO YOUR OWN ROOMS, LATE NIGHT CHATS KEEP OTHERS UP AND YOU TIRED FOR THE NEXT DAY. (IT ALSO KEEPS THE STAFF UP, AND AT OUR AGE WE NEED THE SLEEP)
10. NO FOOD OR DRINK IN THE BED ROOMS.
11. PLEASE KEEP THE PLACE TIDY, INSIDE AND OUT.
12. IF YOU SEE SOMETHING THAT PRESENTS A RISK, LET THE STAFF KNOW.
13. A LOT OF WORK HAS GONE INTO MAKING THIS HAPPEN, HOWEVER WE HAVE LIMITED RESOURCES AND EVEN THE STAFF ARE NOT PERFECT. SO PLEASE TRY TO BE PATIENT AND HELP TURN ANY PROBLEMS INTO SUCCESSES, AND DO IT WITH A SMILE!
14. WORK HARD AND PLAY HARD, YOUR EFFORTS THIS WEEK ARE GOING TO MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE TO A LOT OF YOUNG PEOPLE, BE PROUD OF YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS, GENEROUS WITH YOUR ENTHUSIASM. BUT ABOVE ALL HAVE A SAFE AND FUN WEEK.
15. WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT. WE ARE NOT ALL AS CLEVER, FIT, WELL OFF, TALKATIVE OR AN ALL ROUND PERFECT PERSON AS YOU MIGHT BE, IT’S WHAT MAKES US ALL UNIQUE. RESPECT AND SUPPORT THE WHOLE TEAM, BECAUSE IT IS AS A TEAM THAT WE ALL ACHIEVE SUCCESS.
