Supporting compliance with the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997 as amended by the Fire Precautions (Workplace) (amendment) Regulations 1999 procedures, and the Enforcement Management Model (EMM) produced by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).Accessible via a browser, on a tablet PC or local network client, the Fire Risk Auditor product from SSi is designed to mirror the look and feel of the paper-based Fire Risk Audit & Data Gathering Forms process, while automatically generating all of the incorporated calculations to derive the risk rating, as well as the initial and recommended enforcement activities verified against EMM.Far more than a sophisticated data entry system, the Fire Risk Auditor product is a fully functional electronic document management system supporting record version management, document attachment, workflow and automated web publishing.  With record version management enabled, all changes/updates to a Fire Risk Audit form are independently recorded and fully auditable, providing easy comparison between revisions at any time.  Workflow enables automated processing of enforcement actions via email notification.With increasingly sophisticated buildings and community risk models being developed to support IRMP, the Fire Risk Auditor product ensures compatibility of audit process for a workplace across all areas of fire service activity, while providing support for development requirements in line with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, with the national e-Fire project and the Government’s Interoperability Framework e-GIF.
