Products available for sale on this website are subject to these terms and conditions. By purchasing products on this website you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We reserve the rights to change these terms and conditions at any time, and you are bound by the version available on the site at the date of purchase.


Our major suppliers are Philips, Fujitsu Siemens, Pioneer, Sony, Sharp, Panasonic,Toshiba, LG, NEC and Samsung.


All trademarks and registrations are the property of their respective owners.

Your representations

You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have legal right and ability to enter in to this agreement and to use any debit or credit card used to purchase goods or services on this site. You also warrant that all information you have provided is accurate and true.


All prices stated on the website are inclusive of VAT, but exclusive of delivery costs, except where stated. Prices and availability of products may be changed at any time without notice. Prices in retail stores may be different to the prices shown on this website. To be entitled to purchase any product from any of the retail stores, at the website price, please bring a printout of the required item(s).


Where payment is made by credit or debit card, you authorise us to debit your card with the total cost of the products selected plus VAT and delivery costs. Any refunds made in respect of returns or cancellation will be made in to the same card. If your card can not be verified or is any way unacceptable, the order will be cancelled immediately.


Title to the products passes at the time of despatch from our warehouse. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused during delivery.


We are not liable for loss of profits, loss of business or other consequential, special or indirect loss arising out of the use of any product purchased from this site. All implied warranties and undertakings are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.


We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted on your computer using 128 bit encryption before being transmitted over the internet. They are only decrypted after they reach our server.


We ship to addresses within the UK using our van with our driver, and sometimes use Initial Citylink courier services. Delivery charges inclusive VAT.

Order and Availability

We will ship products that are in stock within 3-7 working days of receiving your order. We make every effort to ensure that our site has up to date information about product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place an order, we will send you an email telling you how soon we will be able to ship the order. If you wish to cancel the order you may do so. We will take appropriate steps to reimburse any payment you have made in respect of the product.

Cancelling an order

You can cancel or amend any order placed with Sounds and Visions provided that the order has not yet entered the dispatch process.


If you wish to return a product purchased from us, you may do so within 7 working days of receiving the product. Please include the order number to enable us to trace the order. We will refund the price of the product, less any delivery costs charged, unless the product is defective, in which case we will also refund the initial delivery costs.

Products returned for credit must be in unopened original packaging with no damage to the boxes or equipment. Items returned for credit which have been opened, with any damage to internal packaging/wrapping will be subject to a minimum 15% handling charge. Items returned for credit which have been tested, trialled, or used will be subject to minimum 25% handling charge. Any items returned with packing missing/damaged or any other contents, such as looms, remote controls, and instruction manuals will also be charged to the customer. Any items returned to us within 7 - 28 working days will be subject to a 25% handling charge.

Faulty Goods

Any goods returned for credit which are not faulty will be returned to the customer with a minimum £15 carriage charge. Any refund (for non-faulty goods returned within 7 days of purchase) will be subject to a minimum 25% handling charge. Any items missing will also be charged.

Any items returned faulty (which have been purchased and returned within 14 days) will be replaced and sent back to the customer carriage free. Certain exclusions apply (listed below).

Any items which develop a fault after 14 days of purchase will be serviced by our acting authorised service centre. Booking the faulty item is a simple procedure which can be done on line. A returns authorisation number will be issued once all the details have been submitted. The item will be collected from an address you provide and returned back to you once serviced. There are no charges for this service. Please allow 14 - 30 days for warranty work to be carried out.

Any items returned to us for service which, under inspection or testing we discovered that are not faulty will be returned back to the customer subject to a £10 carriage charge per kg. Any items collected by our service centre and found to be non faulty will be subject to a higher service charge being levied. It is therefore very important that all items are checked for a legitimate fault, by the customer before booking them in or returning them back to us.

Most items carry 12 month's warranty. Exclusions include remote controls and batteries.

Faulty items can only be collected from UK mainland only. The return carriage charges quoted are for UK mainland only.
