Respond is a social enterprise. It is a not-for-profit company with registered charity status with the purpose of supplying furnishings to those in need in South East London and Kent with an aim to relieve poverty and improve living standards. In particular the company assists the aged, the disabled, ethnic minorities, one-parent families and people on low income. Respond has been working in recycling and reuse of domestic household goods since 1984 and is looking to build on its success by expanding its Training and Recycling Centre providing essential support to those most in need in the community through providing household goods and appliances.
