COMPANY

We are a microwave design and engineering company based in St Albans, approximately 20 miles north of London. Since our incorporation 10 years ago we have been in the forefront of microwave transmission technologies. There are 30 people working directly on the design and development of our products.

CUSTOMERS

There is a continuing commitment to our products and to our customers. Our equipment has been tested and approved by the EU regulatory authorities, telecoms companies and military agencies. We supply specialist transmission systems to many multinational companies including Siemens, Tyco, Alcatel and Thales. We also work directly for operators and users including NTL, local government, defence ministries and police forces.

MANUFACTURING

Manufacturing is undertaken by partners with whom we have long term relationships. The latest automation is used to achieve efficient and repeatable production. The continuity of manufacture results in progressively improving quality and reliability. Our partnerships cover automated surface mount assembly, semi-automatic thermal compression bonding in clean room conditions and automatic machining of precision parts, pressure die-casting and injection moulding.

TEST

Automatic measurements of microwave, IF and digital signals are undertaken in volume production with full statistical analysis to continually improve the tolerance tiering. Specialist measurements, including complete end to end system tests, are undertaken on all professional equipment together with performance measurements in environmental chambers from -40C up to +70C.

BETTER DESIGNS

Our manufacturing partners are as committed as ourselves to the quality and reliability of our products. Design and production engineers work together to ensure that the products are fully production worthy, that they achieve minimum spreads with maximum yields and that the lowest levels of wastage are achieved in all the processes.
