Established in 1989, NWA Social & Market Research is a company specialising in, and committed to, high quality consultation and research in the public sector. In the main this has been for all levels of local government but has also included the health sector, transport and education.

NWA's senior staff have detailed experience of both the issues facing local government and the systems and constrains under which Officers and Members must work. NWA has gained considerable expertise in providing inclusive methodologies which ensure that information is gathered from all sections of the community including 'hard to reach' groups.

In addition to large scale quantitative and qualitative exercises with the general public, NWA has undertaken research with Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) communities, asylum seekers, people with disabilities, young people, gay, lesbian and transsexual groups, and the homeless.
