With a wealth of experience gained over thirty years, J F (Lyn) Oakes left the family business in the early 1980s and set up on his own account, with his wife, Gill, as Technical Director. The business grew rapidly and Lyn and Gill were soon joined by their son, Simon, who gradually took on overall responsibility for the sales team.About us
The company continued to grow and in 2003 took the step of appointing David Jones (previously of Mazars, Chartered Accountants) as Finance and Operations Director.
Over the years, the company has built up a strong reputation for the quality of its clothing – both in terms of design and manufacture – and the friendly efficiency of its service. The main thrust of the business is in the provision of traditional (formal) clothing, tailored corporatewear and bespoke tailoring.
