| Come and enjoy our peace and tranquillity in idyllic surroundings.Four well stocked fishing lakes with a choice of accommodation in cottages or lodges set in the beautiful Devon countryside.Kingslake is set in the heart of Devon’s unspoilt countryside, within an hour’s drive of many local attractions. The cottages and lodges have wonderful views of woodland, lovely undulating farmland, the fishing lakes or the tranquil water garden.We are able to offer you a high standard of self-catering accommodation. A choice of one, two or three bedroom cottages or a two or three bedroom lodge overlooking the lakes. All are tastefully furnished and decorated, with a full sized cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle etc. as well as colour TV, central heating (in the cottages ) and gas or electric fires for those cooler summer evenings. All the cottages have their own patio or garden area and patio furniture; barbecues are either brick built on the patio or available on request.There are many footpaths, cycleways and bridle paths in the area, including nearby access to the Tarka Trail, a 180 mile long footpath and cycleway. The dramatic beauty of Dartmoor is just a short drive away and local villages provide cream teas and good restaurants.LAKESThe original lake overlooked by the larger cottages, lies less than 70 yards from the cottages. The woodland lies behind the lake affording a sheltered environment for fishing and an idyllic view. Across the stream another three lakes take up an area of approximately seven acres and are surrounded by lovely mature woodland. All of the lakes are easily accessible and there is a car park close by for those people who may have difficulty walking.
