Asbestos surveys are carried out to assist clients comply with the new Control of Asbestos At Work Regulations, which came into force on 21st November 2002.

The new regulations place a duty on property owners to manage the asbestos. This usually requires a survey followed by a risk assessment to enable the client to initiate an effective management plan.
