We live in a time of environmental change. This is not the first time that mankind has faced this challenge and we doubt it will be the last. The question is? How will we cope with the predicted changes in climate that face us?
Be under no illusion, hard choices will have to be made. If predictions on future temperature rises are correct, dramatic changes to the way we live our lives must, without doubt, follow. As parts of the earth become less able to support large human populations, pressure on remaining viable habitat will increase. It is our belief that if action is not taken now, it may be too late to maintain and protect these habitats for the future benefit of humanity.
Our approach to the changes that face us offer a unique opportunity to anyone wishing to offset their CO2 footprint. Unlike many schemes offering carbon offset solutions, we believe that for any scheme to be successful in the long-term, the basic prerequisite is stable and accountable government, with a proven track record of conservation. This allows for secure long-term planning and investment.
We also believe that sustainable and ecologically sound harvesting and use of resources is not in conflict with the provision of a carbon-offsetting scheme. Indeed it is our belief that this approach is vital for the long-term sustainability of our projects.
Only by the realisation that we live on a planet with finite resources, which will have to be managed in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way, will humanity be able to cope with the undoubted challenges that face us all.
We have faith in the ability of mankind to overcome the undoubted changes that will occur in our future.
