Frank Cooper & Son Ltd is a small grounds maintenance and landscaping company. It was established in 1976 by Frank Cooper. The work at that time mainly consisted of private gardens and small commercial sites; we still carry out work for some of our original clients today. Our client base has expanded over the years to approximately one hundred, many of which include more than one site; the customer base is mainly in a fifty mile radius of the office and includes Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and North London and incorporates Housing Associations, public/private companies and public authorities. We became a member of the NFU (National Farmers Union) in 1989, BALI (The British Association of Landscape Industries) in 1990 and the IOG (The Institute of Groundsmanship) in 1994. In 1999 we moved the office to a converted barn in Aston where we were already storing our machinery, tools, equipment and materials. We also run a small workshop and employ a qualified engineer to ensure that our equipment is maintained and serviced regularly. We have three other depots situated in Little Wymondley, Ware and London Colney which service contracts near those area. The Company is supported by 30 staff on average depending on the season. We became a Limited Company in November 2004
