The staff and management of Evandale Au pair Agency would like to welcome you and hope to provide you with a reliable and efficient service.

We are a professional company established in 2004 to fulfil the ever increasing demand for childcare needs, our aim is to provide good reliable and efficient Aupairs to families / host / clients by working closely with  our partner agencts in other European countries like Italy etc the agency also operate the cultural exchange programme.

Application Process 

 To ensure that we provide you with the best  Aupairs possible please complete the FREE registration  form providing as much information as possible and a non-refundable search fee of 30.00 pounds for us to commence the search for potential Aupairs. When you return the completed and signed registration form and cleared search fee we shall send you a list of potential Aupairs/ condidates when you have made your choice of the potential Aupairs please, inform the Agency thereafter we suggest a friendly telephone interview with the Aupair this would be organised by the Agency by the Agency upon your reguest. Should your Aupair require a visa prior arriving to you your personal invitation letter would be required the Agency would advice you on this where  applicable.

Normally, the process takes  a few days where the Agency already has an Aupair in the country or longer  up to 3-4 weeks is required to obtain the required documents.Generally the length of the process depends on how fast you are able to provide the Agncy with the requirements.

INFORMATION FOR FAMILIES

An Au pair is a single male or female aged 17-30 years old who lives with a family/ host mainly to improve their standard of English, in England an Aupair can stay upto 2 years and live as a memeber of the member of the family undertake  shared childcare activities and light household work in reteurn for free food, lodging and agreed amount of pocket money. Childcare activities like assisting with bath times, meal times, taking children for a walk , sports and games centres, from and to school, supervising children's homework and general babysiting.

Aupairs work approximately 25 hours per week this can be worked over 5 days with 2 days given as off days they are usually paid 65-70.00 per week

AUPIRS PLUS

The work approximately 30-35 hours per week doing light house work and shared childcare  as per the needs of the family, they are paid 75-80.00 per week.

Mother's Help

The work apprximately 35-40 hours per week with 2 days as off days per week, they are paid 120-200.00 per week. Mother's help are generally young women who have had children themselves or wwith previous childcare experience, some may have chilscare qualification. The decision for Mother's help to take sole charge of children under 2 years  is left to the discretion of the family /host.

Aupairs are not domestic workers nor do they have formal chidcre training or qualifications hence are not expected to have sole  charge of children under 2 years

Aupairs by law are required to have thier own private room fully heated  with access to other areas of the house like the bathroom and lounge, household rules like the use of telephone should be made clear as soon as possible.The family must respect the Aupair's free time and privacy the Aupair vice visa for a happy experience. The Agency would provide free ongoing support and advice to both Aupair and the family, on arrival of the Aupair a welcome pack would be sent to the Aupair and handbook sent to the family.

Nannies are childcare workers with formal training and qualification they are registered and properly by a government body known as OFSTED

The Agency can place Aupairs, Nannies, Mother's Help and Domestic on short, medium and long term basis.

payment can be made on line and by cedit cards.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS

The Aupair would only arrive following a completed and signed registration, engagement letter form you and the Agency's full introductory fees. It is the responsibility of the host / family to collect the Aupair from the nearest station or airport as arranged with the Aupair, the travelling expenses would be paid for by the Aupair, family can contrinute if they wish.

If a family/ host deceides to cancel the Aupair's placement after initailly arranging with the Aupair to purchase travelling ticket, the family would be liable for 25% of the ticket fare. A 50% refund  would be given if a family/ host cancels an Aupair after previously accepting the same 7 days prior the arrival of the Aupair. If the Aupir cancels the placement after previously accepting a position for any reason the Agency would infom the host as soon as possible by the most accessible means within an hour of receiving the notice.

The Agency would provide immediate refund or alternative supply of Aupair as applicable. The Agency does not  give refund once an Aupair has been with a family for 2 weeks or asked to leave after 2 weeks. All request for refund must be made in writing detailing reasons within 2 weeks of placement.

The family reserve the right to terminate immediately the employment of an Aupair due to serious misconduct, the Agency reserve the right to refuse the supply of any Aupair to a family were the safety of the Aupair may be of concern or where the Agency has cause to be concerned. In the event of a serious misconduct like untrue information has been givenby the host family.The Agency reserve the right to terminate the employment of the Au[air immediately with no refund or replacent provided by the Agency. Where a host family was later found to have given false/wrong information leading to inappropriate or unsafe placement of an Aupair for eample leaving an Aupair with no prior childcare training in sole charge of a child of under 2 years of age, the Agency would remove the Aupair immediately with no refund or replacement provided by the Agency.

The Agency cannot be held responsible if anAupair chooses to terminate her employment with a family due to war, natural dissater,terrosism in such cases no refund would be given except if this occurred within the 2 weeks of arrival of the Aupair subject to surcharges.

Whilst the Agency makes every effort to meet the needs of the family,ensure most suitable , honest, trustworthy Aupairs are provided to our clients the Agency cannot be held responsible for any liabilty of cost, demage to person or property, gross misconduct or the difinitive accuracy of the information provided by the Aupairs

The list of Aupairs are sent in strict confidence as they contain personal information hence it is expected that the host family would maintain such confidentiality any unlawful use of the information of the Aupairs details if not for the sole purpose of employment through Evandale Aupair Ahency Ltd would result in legal action

The Agency would not supply an Aupair where the funds have not cleared
