Details:

H G Wells' famous time machine transports its youthful inventor and Jack the Ripper to modern day San Francisco. The legendary butcher of prostitutes quickly adapts to our times and, after a change in clothes, blends perfectly into the seedy side of town.

His opponent, on the other hand, sticks out like a sore thumb. Wells' old-fashioned values and manners force him into many bewildering and humourous predicaments.

Fortunately, however, he teams up with the impetuous young Amy. When the Ripper continues his gruesome slaughter, Wells takes pursuit but is both helped and hindered by his new won friends' actions....
