Filmed by Survival Camera Team for Anglia Television. 3 Programmes on 1 VHS Video Pal
As Stated on the Sleeve:
THE GIANT OTTER: The giant otter, or 'River Wolf', is the largest, noisiest and rarest of its kind in the world. Survival monitors the behaviour of this giant animal as it manoeuvres its way through the unnavigable rivers in the tropical rainforests of South America.
THE VANISHING OTTER: The otter is one of Britain's best loved mammals, but due to its shyness and nocturnal habits it is also one of the rarest. Survival's film looks at the threatened behaviour of the otter and follows its family life in the rivers and marshes of Norfolk
SAGA OF THE SEA OTTER: Like a streak of silver beneath the water, the sea otter dives for food in the forest of kelp sea wood. These endearing and fascinating sea anminals narrowly escaped extinction once and may now be in danger again as they compete for food with local fishermen in Southern California.
