MESSENGERS OF THE GODS: This is a wildlife success story. A small acacia woodland on the shores of a Rift valley lake seems doomed to be felled, and unfortunately it is the home of a troupe of ninteen colubus monkeys, the only ones left in that part of the Rift. This programme is a fascinating study of how this group of animals live their daily lives, their conflicts and problems and how their greatest problem, that of survival, was solved by the enlightened attitude of the estate awner on whose property they lived.

THREE THOUSAND WISE MONKEYS: Once the Macaques swarmed all over the Japanese islands. Now only 3,000 are left in isolated pockets. Why wise? Because the Macaques have marvellously adapte themselves to the ways of man in one of the most overcrowded countries on earth. This facinating film shows how they have done it.

TIWAI: ISLAND OF THE APES: Tiwai island in Sierra Leone is a lnely and mysterious place, a remnant of a lost world. More than 2,000 primates live on the small island making it unique and fascinating.
