Based on the Robert Luis Stephenson story 'The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde', I, Monster features Christopher Lee as the smooth and intelligent Victorian docture, Charles Marlowe, who has discovered a drug which relieves inhibitions. after experimenting on his own patients with startling results, Marlowe decides to use himself as a guinea pig and is transformed into a sadistic brute.
The well groomed Marlowe suddenly becomes a wild-eyed degenerate with mottled skin and crumbling teeth, and each time the drug dies its work the effects are more violent. Finally, wen Marlowe stops taking it, the savage transformations continue...with increasing disturbing results..
