 | Dr Who - The Mark of the Rani - Colin Baker Autographed VHS
Here in 'Something Else'.... You won't be able to find one of these in a hurry .. an autographed and signed video from Colin Baker. Again in this far ancient land of Avalon, Mr Baker landed in his tardis to visit the Marquee of Bath in his stately home of Longleat. Colin autographed the video on the last year of the Dr Who exhibition, based in Longleat (now sadly gone! boo hooo!), but you can own one of the last remnants of those days. Guaranteed genuine!
What about the video? O.K... I guess you want to find out what this little gem of an episode has in store!
Taken from the Sleeve:
The Tardis is drawn off course and materialises close to the Killingworth coal pits in the north of England during the early nineteenth century. Teh Luddite rebellion is in full swing as workers fighte to prevent their jobs being taken by machines.
The Doctor and Peri quickly learn that they are not the only time travellers in the area - the Doctor's old adversary, the Master, is attempting to disrupt a meeting between some of Britains's foremost scholars and scientists, ncluding George Stephenson and Michael Faraday. The violence among the miners is in part caused by the interference of another renegade Time Lord, the Rani, who is extracting chemicals from their brains to serve her own nefarious purposes. The Doctor must avoid the vicious attacks o fthe mortals, halt the Rani's immoral experiments and thwart the Master's plot to hijack the Industrial Revolution....
