 | Dr Who - The Colin Baker Years - Autographed VHS by Colin Baker
Here in 'Something Else'.... You won't be able to find one of these in a hurry (unless you buy the other signed video we have on offer!) .. an autographed and signed video from Colin Baker. Again in this far ancient land of Avalon, Mr Baker landed in his tardis to visit the Marquee of Bath in his stately home of Longleat. Colin autographed the video on the last year of the Dr Who exhibition, based in Longleat (now sadly gone! boo hooo!), but you can own one of the last remnants of those days. We liked him so much we forced his hand to sign two of these video gems! Guaranteed genuine!
Taken from the sleeve: Following his first appearance as the Doctor in the caves of Androzani on 16 March 1984, Colin Baker baecame the sixth actor to step into the role as Gallifrey's most famous son. Characterised by his dazzling attire and rather wry humour, this Doctor was to prove slightly inaccessible (unlike our videos!) and rather unpredictable, cast perhaps more in the mode of William Hartnesll's timelord. On this special video, Colin Baker himself recalls the Colin Baker Years, revealing some of his own favourite memories and clips from the period including....
** His first ever rater 'arch' appearance inb the programme as Commander Maxil in the Arc of Infinity. **The news ammouncemnet of his appointment to the role with his Breakfast Time and Blue Peter appearances **5 Clips from the Win Dilemma, his first full adventure as the Doctor. **4 Excerpts from Attack of the Cybermen including a glimpse of Tony 'Davros' Molloy. ** Clips from Vengeance on Varos, Mark of the Rani (I think I heard of this from something else before?!), and the Two Doctors. **News announcement of the programmes's 18 month rest period. **Much, much more!
