FAQ (off stage)

ED FURST,
or
FURST CHOICE Duo/Band

QUESTIONS we are FREQUENTLY ASKED
off stage,
in advance, ideally as part of the booking process.

Q:   What time will you arrive?
A:   About an hour before the starting time, unless agreed otherwise.

Q:   What equipment will you need?
A:   We have our own instruments, amplification and transport.  All we need is a stage area at least 5ft/1.5m square per musician, with a dedicated 13amp wall socket.
Q:   What's a "dedicated" 13amp wall socket?
A:   Not an adaptor which is sharing with a fruit machine, bingo machine, TV, fish fryer, gameboy, hair dryer, or whatever.  (It does happen, honest!)

Q:   Do you need a changing room?
A:   No, unless you require us to change into clothing we would not want to wear while humping equipment about!
Q:   Does that mean you turn up looking like you've slept in a ditch?
A:   No.  We aim for smart meets rugged.

Q:   Do you play CDs in the break?
A:   No, because we do not carry backing tracks or playback machines.

Q:   What area do you cover?
A:   London, Essex, Herts, Kent, etc, within 20 miles radius of Stratford Olympic Village.

Q:   As a guide, what do you charge for a couple of hours on a Saturday night?
A:   As a guide, from £150 for the solo, £180 for the duo.

Q:   Where can we see you play before we decide?
A:   Click the
Contact Us button and email, text or phone me, Ed Furst, to find out when we are at a gig or open mike in your area.
