Direct Visual provides many desktop video conferencing solutions, either PC or laptop based. This enables students and teachers to conference on a one to one basis with others anywhere in the world. This can help to improve communications and interpersonal skills. It has also been used amongst high school students in West Yorkshire where mock interviews were conducted over video. This enabled students to practice and improve their interview skills with experienced local empolyers.
Managers and teaching staff can easily share ideas and collaberate with other staff without travelling.
Desktop video can be implemented and managed from a centralised server in the Local Authority. The solution is controlled centrally enabling the user interface to be custom designed, ensuring it is easy to use.
