CoSPA offers the residents of Coaley, Gloucestershire a convenient source of their everyday grocery needs, plus an Internet cafe and library -all controlled by villagers and operating for the good of all. The CoSPA shop is open 7 days a week, manned by volunteers and prices are at supermarket levels. 

We have been in operation nearly four years now and business continues to thrive. One of our popular features is "builder's breakfasts".Whenever houses are being being built or improved in the village, the aroma of sausages and bacon wafts across the village green as a sure sign business is booming.   

We now stock more Traidcraft/Fair Trade food products, as well as local Meats, Jams and Preserves and fresh vegetables in season  

Our new Community Voucher Scheme is proving popular, whereby CoSPA makes a donation to the selected charity of the customer's choice, donating 10p when the customer spends over £5* and 25p when the customer spends over £10 . This year's selected charities, spanning all the age ranges are Coaley  Play Group, Friends of Coaley School and the Friendship Group
