Established in 1968, Colourdecor Ltd, operates from modern purpose built premises in Stevenage. It employs a highly mobile force of professional decorators, many of whom are City and Guilds qualified. Their combined talents cover every aspect of the decorator's art, and all associated repairs such as plastering and carpentry.

Our work for Local Authorities falls into three main categories; Standard redecorations of tower blocks, houses or flats; Insurance work which involves building and carpentry repairs; and OAP homes that require kind and caring painters. We have completed contracts for many Local Authorities from £1000 to over half a million pounds. After twenty years experience managing large and complex contracts, we have the expertise to produce quality work, within budget to specification, on time. Our contracts are supervised by foremen on site and all work is checked again by a senior contracts supervisor.

We have decorated many schools in our area, state, private and public, from small classrooms up to the complicated challenge of the domed chapel ceiling of Haileybury College, Hertford Heath. In these days of ever tightening budgets it is important those areas that have been newly decorated stay looking clean and fresh for as long as possible, we have a wide range of coatings including anti-graffiti paint, and water based epoxy resins for use in showers etc that are prone to mould attack and condensation. All these finishes are very hard wearing, well up to the rigours of school life! We are able to schedule the work for the holidays so as to cause the minimum disruption possible.
