Carpet and Upholstery Cleaners.

Service with Integrity!

Before choosing a carpet/upholstery cleaner ask yourself two questions:

From the following list which two?

How do you know that the carpet cleaner you choose will not rip you off?

If you're not an expert. How would you know?

What questions should you ask to find out if he really knows how to correctly take care of your valuable carpets and upholstery?

Do you treat wool & silk the same?

Does he have "Treatment risks" insurance?

Public liabillity does not cover work in hand.

Has he had any training? Is it up to date?

Fabrics change everyday.

Will I get charged a fair price for the work?

How do I compare like for like?

Who is looking out for the interests of the consumer?

Should something go wrong who helps to settle disputes?

Is he a member of the National Carpet Cleaners Association (NCCA) and a member of the International Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) Certified Firm?

Not Sure?

Is he a member of the National Carpet Cleaners Association (NCCA) and a member of the International Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) Certified Firm?

The NCCA is not a cheque book Association all applicants must attend four days of training and have Treatment risks insurance.

Members must not use unscrupulous marketing technique i.e. "bait and switch" give quotations in writing after inspecting and qualifying the work.

The NCCA was set up to guard the public against unscrupulous practices and jealously guards its reputation.

The IICRC amongst other things lays down standards for the cleaning and restoration industry and teaches technicians how to work to those standards.

It is an independantly funded body that only recommends as "Certified Firms", those who have signed a pledge to trade honestly, have up to date qualified Technicians and suitable liabillity insurance.

One question answers them all and much, much more besides.

Oh the other question:

Colin, When are you coming to clean my carpets?
