Every time I change my tyres I install Ultaseal - it is EC approved and tested to 156 m.p.h. I have personally tested this product now for two years before taking on a distributorship. The Ultraseal DIY Motorcycle Kit
Ultraseal is a viscous liquid gel which is installed through the tyre valve. It spreads with centrifugal force throughout the inner casing of the tyre creating an evenly distributed coating which seals punctures as they happen.
In the event of a puncture, Ultraseal provides a permanent repair, guaranteed for the rest of the legal life of the tyre for a puncture up to 1/4” (6mm) in diameter within the tread area.
If the tyre casing is damaged to the point of being unsafe or dangerous (including sidewall damage), Ultraseal will allow the tyre to deflate under control, avoiding a blow-out.
A blow-out at speed could lead to loss of control leading to injury to the rider, damage to the bike, helmet, body armour and boots – Ultraseal prevents a blow-out by providing a controlled deflation of the tyre allowing the rider to bring the bike to a safe stop.
Most tyre fitters will not repair a puncture in a “Z” rated tyre as the massive internal heat build-up destroys the adhesive used to make the repair - Ultraseal works with heat and is suitable for tyres up to and including “Z” rated. If the tyre suffers a puncture that does not damage the casing or sidewall, Ultraseal will provide a permanent, guaranteed repair – saving the cost of buying a new tyre whenever you get a puncture.
In a tyre without Ultraseal installed, the build-up of excess heat inside the tyre finds its’ way back to the outside surface of the tyre and reduces the life of the tyre significantly – with Ultraseal installed the excess internal heat is redirected away via the rim to the outside air – the inner temperature is reduced, while the critical heat on the outside of the tyre (required for grip / traction) is retained.
Ultraseal is suitable for tubed and tubeless tyres and can extend the life of the tyre by up to 40%.
