The British Dyslexia Association is dependent upon voluntary donations in order to provide its vital services and campaign on behalf of dyslexic people to ensure that they are not discriminated against at school, in the workplace or in society.
Your donation of just £2 per month would enable the BDA to ensure that every dyslexic child, young person and adult has a voice at the highest level in government to influence policy and practice so that they can reach their own full potential.
Dyslexia affects one in every ten people. It occurs irrespective of intelligence, gender, geographic origin or economic circumstances. It is a mixture of abilities and difficulties but without the right support a dyslexic child will fail at school, a dyslexic young person is at risk of becoming involved in the criminal justice system and a dyslexic adult will carry the scars of a failed education and have limited employment opportunities.
