AQ+ is a very safe, easily applied, antiseptic, steriliser and antibiotic, that utilises natures own way of neutralising pathogens, including super-bug bacteria, without any harmful side effects or loss of efficiency from repeated use. It uses a very low concentration of a natural bark extract from the Chichona Tree of South America, and the UK Medical Health Regulatory Authority (MHRA) states that health-care professionals can be advised that it kills MSRA. A claim supported by the results of tests conducted by Professor Mark Enright of Imperial College, London, on the 213 super-bug strains that it easily killed, including MSSA, VRSA and VISA (full report published in the medical journal, JAC, in December 2005). It has been described by medical researchers as the penicillin of the twenty-first century.
AQ+ is not a drug and does not act chemically, but it kills bacteria 'outright', in a physical way, in a matter of seconds, so there is no possibility of any mutation taking place. Unlike drugs and chemical treatments, exactly the same concentration of AQ+ is used on animals, as is used on people, or on any material surface. It is easy applied, often by the individual themselves, and after use, it can be disposed of in normal waste, or even released into water courses, without harming marine life, and so is extremely environmentally friendly.
