Conventional arc welders will blow holes in thin sheet steel because they will not operate at low enough amperage. The Model 1400, however is specifically designed only to work at the lower range of 30 - 100 amps and so cand weld steel as thin as 22swg / 0.8mm. On maximum amperage though it can handle up to 5mm. This machine provides excellent value for money and is portable, durable and extremely effective. Comes complete with face shield, chipping hammer and wire brush.
